what kind of pet door should i get?
i’m going to put a pet door to our attached garage for our 3 kitties to go in & out of (we aren’t planning to use the garage for automotive anything, btw). what would be a good kind to get?
they range in size from quite large (20lbs w/ head the size of a grapefruit) to petite (8lbs, head smaller than a tennis ball) so i’m wondering if a regular “cat door” would work or if i should get something larger?
should i look for a certain type of seal, or would it be okay regardless as it’s not to the outdoors?
thanks!!!
i was kinda vague… sorry
it will be from our house to the garage.
they are *strictly* inside kitties.
their litter boxes will be in there, as well as some catwalks i plan to build for them. it would be nice if we could lock them in the garage if need be (if we need the front door open for a time or something)
Since you are allowing them free access to the garage and don’t need to close it off, just get a larger one so they can come and go as they please, without getting caught up. If you want them to stay out in the garage for a little bit, there are doors that you can set to open only one way.

The Spaniard tennis player Rafael Nadal made history this weekend during the Roland Garros tournament by grasping his fourth consecutive title devastating his opponents one by one to finally seal his red hot win over the Swiss Master Roger Federer.
One other tennis player who had previously written a chapter in history in Paris Bjorn Borg, winner of 11 Grand Slam trophies, including six in Paris made some astonishing predictions for the final game and about Roger Federer.
“… I believe that Roger has a very, very good possibility to beat Nadal,” said the Swedish legend during Sunday’s game in the French capital. But not all predictions become reality, do they? Federer suffered one of the worst losses at the Philippe Chatrier court 6-1, 6-3 and 6-0.
“I believe that is going to be a very quarrel final. I believe that is going to be a very, very long game,” added Borg” if Roger wins in Paris, without doubt will be the best tennis player of the history”. But once and again Nadal won the most unbalanced final in Roland Garros since 1977.
Short and painful it was for the Swiss Roger Federer to witness for the third consecutive time how his dream to win the French red court disappeared once again. Federer did receive a juicy prize despite the inexplicable performance, which left many of us speechless.
Federer who is known as the impassable wall on the tennis court was given some of his medicine and was crashed by the Spaniard whose dominance on this type of surface is to be questioned anymore. So, I think four titles say it all.
“After a rout thus, of course do not want to play against Nadal tomorrow, that is sure”, declared Federer. The Swiss who currently holds 12 Grand Slams in all surfaces except for that of Paris complemented his rival Nadal as he becomes the first man since Borg to win a Grand Slam not dropping one single set.
Nevertheless; Nadal’s secret is his will to overcome the worst possible scenarios and the worst possible injuries…he has confessed that he was built to win and he has shown us he can win. An extra which could have pushed Nadal to his limit could have been the fact that the Serbian Novak Djokovic kept stepping on his hills as he was so close to overtake the second position in the ATP overall rankings.
On the other hand, Federer will try to redeem himself at Wimbledon were he has been champion for the past five consecutive years. This has been certainly his most accomplished season and it has been very hard for Federer to get back on track but the next Grand Slam could be motivation he needs to believe in himself once again.
And briefly we take a look at the ladies’ Grand Slam which was played between the young Serbian promise Australian Open 2008 runner up Ana Ivanovic and the Russian Dinara Safina; basically another pleasant surprise when Ivanovic managed to win her maiden Grand Slam and a breakthrough in the WTA top ten for Safina who keeps crawling in amongst the best.
